Craig Bland is originally from Sulphur Springs, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Journalism and has an M-Div in Christian Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He has spent the majority of his professional career in athletics or ministry. He was an Athletic Director at KIPP Austin Collegiate for 4 years before moving into full-time church ministry. He came on staff at Hill Country Christian School in 2017, where he served as Director of Christian Life for 5 years before transferring to a corporate role for a brief period. He returned to Hill Country in the fall of this year where he had the opportunity to reconnect with students through teaching and coaching.

He has coached football at Hill Country, both at the high school and middle school levels, as well as been an assistant coach in boys varsity basketball for 5 seasons.

Craig has been married to his wife Sarah for 18 years. They have 4 children: Molly, Mia, Silas, and Camille.
