Coaching Experience:

With over 15 years of experience in dance and cheer instruction, I have had the privilege of coaching athletes across a wide range of ages and skill levels. My background includes working with various grade levels—elementary, middle, and high schools—where I provided instruction in cheer stunt technique, choreography, and fitness training. Additionally, I was responsible for instructing collegiate-level stunts and leading team practices at Azusa Pacific University my senior year. Before relocating from California, I was creating and implementing custom fitness programs as a personal trainer for employees at LinkedIn and Adobe. 

Coaching Philosophy:

My coaching philosophy is rooted in extreme ownership. It is so important for me to teach my athletes to take 100% responsibility for their actions and outcomes by modeling that same behavior. By leading with positive reinforcement, I aim to build confidence and trust through encouragement and consistent support. I will always challenge myself and team to step outside of our comfort zones, knowing that growth begins where comfort ends. Above all, I aim to model behavior that magnifies Jesus— placing His glory and purpose above personal achievement.

Playing Experience:

After high school, I went on to cheer for 4 years at Azusa Pacific University from 2011-2015. After graduating college, I was a member of the San Francisco 49ers GoldRush from 2016-2017. 

Who/What Inspires You:

As I grow older and my walk with God deepens, I am truly inspired by the unwavering faithfulness and pure love we see in Christ Jesus. His example encourages greater goodness in all my relationships—from my children and my husband to the athletes I coach. I’m so grateful for Jesus’ patience with me and for the tender way He helps me grow in all areas of maturity each day. He is the ultimate example of a mentor and coach.
